The Royal Free Charity, Graseby House

We have recently worked with Royal Free Charity, an organisation that supports all Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust patients and staff to enable them to have the best experience while using the NHS services. The client required us to refurbish Graseby House into their new office space and accommodation for training nurses.

Our Process

The first phase of the Graseby House renovation required us to refurbish the 10,000 sq ft ground floor of the building into a large office space for the Royal Free Charity. The works included air conditioning, ventilation and air recycling installation and computer data installation. We also installed energy-efficient LED lighting into the whole building.

The second phase consisted of refurbing the second floor of Graseby House into 64 self-contained studio apartments for key healthcare workers for the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. The works included a full refurbishment and installing a new access lift. This accommodation is much needed for the training and future of nurses in this area.

We had been the main contractors for this project with Oander Limited undertaking he roles of Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor. We have worked closely with the design team consisting of Box Architects as lead designer; IN2 Design completing the MEP design and Green Structural Engineering proving engineering support.
