Veteris, Twickenham

DB+

HE Interiors is proud to have completed the fit-out of a new 24-hour veterinary practice for Veteris in Twickenham, London. As the third project successfully delivered for the growing veterinary group, this latest practice reflects the strength of our ongoing partnership and our shared commitment to creating high-quality healthcare environments that support exceptional patient care.

Designed to operate continuously, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, the new facility has been carefully planned to provide a welcoming environment for pet owners while meeting the demanding operational requirements of a modern emergency and referral veterinary practice. Every aspect of the project was delivered with precision, ensuring the finished space supports both clinical excellence and staff wellbeing.

The practice incorporates a comprehensive range of specialist treatment areas, including multiple consultation rooms, a dedicated X-ray suite, an intensive care unit and purpose-built kennel facilities. Each clinical space was constructed to meet the exacting standards required within veterinary healthcare, balancing durability, hygiene and functionality with a calm and reassuring environment for both animals and their owners.

The consultation rooms have been designed to provide privacy and comfort, enabling veterinary professionals to conduct examinations and discuss treatment plans in a welcoming setting. Careful attention was given to finishes, lighting and layout to create spaces that feel approachable while remaining highly practical for day-to-day clinical use.

A key feature of the practice is the dedicated X-ray room, where specialist construction techniques and materials were incorporated to accommodate imaging equipment safely and effectively. Working closely with the client and specialist suppliers, HE Interiors ensured the room was delivered in full compliance with the technical requirements of veterinary diagnostic imaging.

Supporting emergency and critical care services, the intensive care area has been designed to enable continuous monitoring and rapid treatment of patients requiring specialist attention. Adjacent kennel facilities provide secure, comfortable accommodation for animals recovering from surgery or receiving ongoing treatment, with layouts that allow veterinary teams to work efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare.

As a true 24-hour facility, the practice also includes dedicated staff accommodation, recognising the vital role that employee wellbeing plays in delivering round-the-clock veterinary care. Comfortable living and rest areas have been integrated into the building, allowing on-call clinicians and support staff to remain close to patients while benefiting from high-quality facilities during overnight and extended shifts. Creating environments that support staff comfort was an important element of the project, helping Veteris attract and retain talented professionals in a demanding healthcare sector.

Delivering a healthcare project within a busy London location required careful planning, coordination and programme management throughout the construction process. HE Interiors worked collaboratively with Veteris, consultants and specialist contractors to ensure works progressed efficiently while maintaining the high standards of workmanship expected across every phase of the project. Attention to detail, proactive communication and effective problem-solving enabled the practice to be completed on schedule and ready to welcome its first patients.

This latest project further strengthens the relationship between HE Interiors and Veteris, following the successful completion of two previous veterinary practices. Developing an understanding of the client’s operational requirements has enabled our team to deliver increasingly refined environments that support both clinical performance and future growth. The repeat appointment reflects the trust Veteris places in HE Interiors to consistently deliver high-quality healthcare fit-outs that meet demanding operational and technical standards.

The Twickenham practice stands as another example of HE Interiors’ expertise in delivering specialist healthcare environments where functionality, compliance and design come together seamlessly. By combining technical knowledge with collaborative project delivery, we have created a facility that enables Veteris to provide outstanding veterinary care around the clock, while offering an exceptional workplace for its dedicated team.

As HE Interiors continues to expand its portfolio within the healthcare and veterinary sectors, projects such as this demonstrate our commitment to creating spaces that improve outcomes for clients, staff and the communities they serve. We are delighted to have supported Veteris once again and look forward to continuing our partnership as the business grows.
